Overview

The Elementary Division of MMEA:

Fosters development of music education in the school and community
Provides opportunities for professional development through workshops, seminars, and conventions
Organizes all aspects of the Elementary Honor Choir
Conducts all business matters and initiates policy change
Seeks to reach all elementary music educators in Mississippi
Encourages membership in their professional organization
Sponsors the fall workshop

Membership in NAfME/MMEA is required for student participation and discounted rates to workshops.
