- The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) partners with MMEA to serve as the coordinator and policy maker for the choral division of MHSAA.
- The High School division organizes and runs the State Performance Assessment. (SPA)
- MMEA Choral Art Festival is an alternative to the State Performance Assessment. It is organized by the High School Division Vice-President and is created to be a positive and encouraging festival setting.
- The High School Division also works with the Junior High Division to organize the Fall Workshops for High School and Junior High.
